Quantum Qool’s proprietary ultrafast laser-based manufacturing process significantly increases the surface area and emissivity of key materials many times over, accelerating cooling by 100%+ by sculpting feature-enhancing nanostructures and radiating heat by intensified IR radiation. This process is deployed thru customized ultrafast laser workstations for thermal management applications at industrial scale.
As seen in these scanning electron microscope (SEM) and infrared camera images of an ultrafast laser surface structured aluminum plate, components such spacecraft radiators, microchip heat spreaders & heat sinks, even battery current collectors are ready-made for our unique process. This means no need for messy & complex coatings, paints, films or metamaterials that break down over long durations in critical high temperature environments.
